Thanks to its professional design, it is also suitable for multi-day trips along the seashore: The inflatable ESCAPE 2 kayak combines all these – except for one thing: it is not made for just one person alone. This sea kayak has been designed for two persons to enjoy freedom together!
The new designed V-shaped body with downward-shifting floor and the pronounced centre tube stabilise the ESCAPE and keeps it on course. That makes the ESCAPE run exeptionally smoothly and directionaly stable!
The pronounced upper side shape offers two benefits:
1. Great hip contact to the boat
2. Plenty of buoyancy when edging
So that you keep control at all times!
The deck is made of waterproof Grabner rubber boat skin and fixed permanently to the body of the kayak. This way you will always stay dry underneath the deck. After paddling splashing water drips off and the kayak can be packed dry in no time.
The cockpit can be covered with an optional sprayskirt for additional protection in rough waters or on cold days.
Thanks to the flat deck cross wind has only little contact surface, for easy run also on breezy days.
Recommendation: If you paddle with two people, the kayak is easier
to steer with the steering device.Current, waves and wind are easily compensated with the steering device, without the need to steer in coordination with the two double paddles.

The Grabner Escape 2 comes with two inflatable seats, two footrests, and four crossbars. Additionally, you receive a repair kit for minor damages, a valve key, and an overpressure adapter.
For the Grabner Escape 2, in addition to classic accessories like paddles, pumps, or life jackets, we can also recommend D-rings. With these, you can, for example, attach a boat trolley to your Grabner boat.
Additionally, the Grabner Escape 2 fully unleashes its potential with a rudder system, which makes maneuvering and steering easier. This is especially recommended for individuals who intend to paddle the boat alone.
With a good air pump, the Grabner Escape 2 can be set up in just a few minutes. The Escape 2 consists of 3 air chambers (one bottom chamber and two side chambers), all inflated to 0.3 bar.

Das Grabner Escape 2 wird aus vulkanisiertem 1100 dtex EPDM-Kautschuk gefertigt – einem extrem widerstandsfähigen Material, das auch bei intensiver Nutzung seine Elastizität und Form behält. Dieser hochwertige Gummi ist abriebfest, UV-stabil und unempfindlich gegenüber Kälte, sodass das Boot auch nach vielen Jahren strukturell zuverlässig bleibt.
Die geschlossene Bauweise schützt den Innenraum vor Spritzwasser und mechanischen Einflüssen, was die Haltbarkeit zusätzlich erhöht. Durch die robuste Rumpfkonstruktion bleibt das Escape 2 auch bei sportlicher Fahrweise und hoher Geschwindigkeit formstabil. Dank Grabners sehr guter Ersatzteilversorgung lässt sich das Kajak langfristig warten und dauerhaft einsatzfähig halten.
Trotz seiner Länge von 500 cm kann das Grabner Escape 2 kompakt zusammengefaltet werden. Das flexible EPDM-Material ermöglicht ein enges Packmaß, das im Transportsack überraschend wenig Raum einnimmt. Mit 27,5 kg ist das Boot schwerer als der Einsitzer, lässt sich zu zweit aber problemlos tragen und vom Auto bis ans Wasser transportieren.
Nach der Tour trocknet das Material schnell, sodass das Escape 2 rasch verstaut werden kann. Zusammengelegt passt es in viele größere Pkw oder ins Wohnmobil – ideal für Tourenpaare, die ein schnelles, sportliches Kajak suchen und dennoch flexibel unterwegs sein möchten.
