Gumotex Scout - Aufblasbares Kanu

The Gumotex Scout comes with three wooden seat boards (with T-struts) and thigh straps with safety clips included. Additionally, you receive a repair kit for minor damages, a valve key, a sponge for cleaning, and a waterproof transport bag with a capacity of 135 liters. This allows you to conveniently store, maintain, and, of course, use your Gumotex Scout on the water.

For the Gumotex Scout, in addition to classic accessories like paddles, pump, or life jacket, we also recommend a pressure gauge for measuring the operating pressure. This ensures that you inflate your Gumotex Scout properly and safely. The Gumotex Scout can be easily maneuvered solo with a double paddle, and we're happy to assist you in selecting the perfect paddle.

The Gumotex Scout can be easily set up in just a few minutes with a good air pump. Before inflation, you attach the seats to the canoe using the screws and nuts provided. You can also attach the T-struts under the seats to provide the boat with more rigidity. The Gumotex Scout consists of 3 air chambers (one floor and two side chambers), all equipped with easy-to-use push-push valves. These are all inflated to 0.2 bar.

The Gumotex Scout can be paddled solo (with a double paddle) or with up to three people. When paddling with two people, the Scout provides ample legroom and storage space for multi-day trips. With three people, space is a bit more restricted, but you still won't bump into the person in front. To achieve this, you can mount the three seats on your Gumotex Scout as far apart as possible. This setup allows you to use the Gumotex Scout comfortably with a child as well.

The Gumotex Scout is suitable for whitewater up to class 3.

Das Gumotex Scout ist für intensive Nutzung ausgelegt und besteht aus dem widerstandsfähigen Nitrilon®-Material, das sich im Fluss- und Toureneinsatz seit Jahren bewährt. Die robuste Außenhaut ist abriebfest, UV-beständig und hält auch regelmäßigem Kontakt mit Steinen oder Kiesbänken stand.

Dank der verstärkten Bodenstruktur, den stabilen T-Streben und den verschweißten Nähten bleibt das Scout selbst bei hoher Zuladung formstabil und zuverlässig dicht. Für Familien, Tourenfahrer und Paddler, die ein langlebiges Luftkanu für unterschiedlichste Gewässer suchen, gehört das Scout zu den robustesten Modellen im Gumotex-Programm.

Trotz seiner Größe im aufgebauten Zustand lässt sich das Gumotex Scout erstaunlich kompakt zusammenfalten. Nach dem Entlüften passt das Boot samt Zubehör problemlos in den mitgelieferten 135-Liter-Transportsack. Dieser bietet ausreichend Raum für die großen Sitzbretter und die T-Streben, was den Transport besonders bequem macht.

Mit einem Gewicht von rund 25 kg ist das Scout schwerer als andere Gumotex-Kanadier, bleibt aber für zwei Personen gut tragbar. Im Auto oder Wohnmobil findet es leicht Platz, und das schnell trocknende Nitrilon®-Material ermöglicht ein unkompliziertes Verpacken direkt nach der Tour. Ideal für alle, die ein großes Tourenkanu mit dennoch praktischem Packmaß suchen.
