The manometer needs to be adjusted to the Gumotex valves before first use. To do this, take a large flathead screwdriver and turn the plastic screw of the manometer inward until the distance to the valve pin fits.

Our Opinion: In our opinion, this is the only 100% reliable external manometer on the market. First, inflate the boat to a firmer level by feel. Then hold the manometer onto the valves and let out excess air until the desired pressure is reached. The external manometer has the advantage that on hot days, you can check the pressure at any time while on the go. On tours, it is best to wrap the manometer in a piece of clothing to protect it from shocks and bumps.
