The Scubi principle is primarily about one thing: uncomplicated recreational fun on the water. By combining proven techniques from folding and inflatable boats, the Scubi creates a hybrid of both systems. With the Scubi 1, our developed hybrid technology was used in a production boat for the first time, and it continues to successfully support the entire Scubi family to this day!
In this design, the framework is reduced to a necessary minimum and combined with air elements. This combination gives the kayak the necessary rigidity and structure for significantly better handling compared to pure inflatable boats of this size.
On the other hand, the hybrid technology ensures a quick and uncomplicated setup. The air tubes operate at a pressure of 0.25 bar (3.6 psi). The outer skin of the Scubi is made from a robust and tear-resistant PVC/PU fabric. Additionally, the underwater hull is equipped with an installed keel strip that protects against abrasion.

Das Nortik Scubi 1 besteht aus robustem PVC/PU-Material, das für eine gute Abriebfestigkeit und eine lange Lebensdauer ausgelegt ist.
