Zelgear Igla 410

The Zelgear Igla 410 comes with a seat, a foot brace, and a pair of thigh straps. The included double fin enhances the kayak’s directional stability and maneuverability. Additionally, the package contains a repair kit for minor damage, an air pump, and a transport bag, providing everything you need to store, maintain, and transport your Igla 410 easily.

In addition to essential gear such as a paddle or life vest, we also recommend using a pressure gauge to monitor the kayak’s operating pressure with the Zelgear Igla 410.

A kayak trolley, such as the Eckla Beach Rolly, makes transporting the Igla 410 much easier and helps when carrying it over obstacles. To secure the trolley to the kayak, we offer specially designed D-rings.

The Igla 410 truly reaches its full potential when paired with a rudder system, which significantly improves maneuvering and steering. For additional protection of your gear from splashes, a spray deck designed for the Zelgear Igla 410 can also be purchased.

The Zelgear Igla 410 can be inflated in just a few minutes using the included air pump. Start by inflating the drop-stitch floor to 0.5 bar, then fill the side chambers to 0.25 bar.

The side tubes feature built-in overpressure valves to prevent overinflation. The included seat can be easily inflated by mouth using its screw valve. The supplied double fin is inserted into a sleeve at the stern and secured automatically as the kayak is inflated.

The Zelgear Igla 410 is a kayak designed for one to two paddlers. It provides enough space for two average-sized paddlers or a single paddler with gear, making it suitable for multi-day adventures.

The Zelgear Igla 410 is an extremely versatile kayak, performing well on both lakes and faster-flowing rivers. Experienced paddlers, like Steve Flusswanderer, have even completed full trips down the Traun River twice using the Igla 410, demonstrating its reliability and adaptability for extended river adventures.

The Zelgear Igla 410 combines durable PVC side chambers with a high-pressure drop-stitch floor, inflated to 0.5 bar, giving the kayak an exceptionally stiff and resilient structure. This ensures it withstands stresses during entering and exiting the water as well as during landings.

The side tubes, inflated to 0.25 bar, are made from UV-resistant, abrasion-proof PVC designed for long-term use. A major advantage of this model is the removable drop-stitch floor, which can be easily replaced even after many years of use. This makes the Igla 410 one of the most durable touring kayaks in the Zelgear series.

Despite its 410 cm length, the Zelgear Igla 410 packs down surprisingly compactly. The drop-stitch floor can be folded separately, significantly reducing the packed size and making transport easier. Weighing just 16.5 kg, the kayak can be easily carried by a single person and fits comfortably into the boot of most vehicles.

The quick-drying material allows the Igla 410 to be packed away immediately after paddling—making it ideal for day trips, travel, and spontaneous adventures.
