The Zelgear Spark 450 is a highly versatile and popular tandem touring kayak. With a width of 83 cm, the boat is very stable, comfortable, and provides ample space inside. Multiple fixtures for attaching seats, knee supports, or the cockpit are available.
The Zelgear Spark 450 can be paddled solo, in tandem, or even with three paddlers. The basic set comes with two seats, and an additional seat can be purchased if needed. All necessary attachments are pre-mounted for this purpose. The V-shape of the Dropstitch bottom provides the inflatable boat with high stability. This unique design shapes the contours of the hull, giving the kayak exceptional rigidity and excellent straight-line tracking. The kayak can be set up in approximately 5-10 minutes. The kayak's skeg (directional fin) is inserted into a special pocket at the stern and secured by inflating the boat.
The average paddling speed for two individuals is around 6.5 km/h. Speeds of up to 9.5 km/h can also be achieved and sustained over an extended period.
