Gumotex Swing 2 (New Version)

The Gumotex Swing 2 comes with two seats and two footrests. The included fin significantly improves the directional stability of the Gumotex Swing 2. Also included are a repair kit for minor damages, a valve key, a cleaning sponge, and a fabric bag for transport.

Since the seats of the Gumotex Swing 2 are very uncomfortable, we recommend the Gumotex Seashine seat as an alternative. It is inflatable and significantly more comfortable than the original seat. In addition to classic accessories like paddles, pump, or life jacket, we also recommend a kayak trolley. This makes transporting the Gumotex Swing 2 much more comfortable.

The Gumotex Swing 2 can be inflated in just a few minutes with a good air pump. Before that, the crossbars are inserted into the loops inside the boat and the backrests of the seats are attached. The Swing 2 consists of 3 air chambers (one floor and two side chambers), all equipped with easy-to-use push-push valves. All three chambers are inflated to an operating pressure of 0.2 bar. Finally, the gunwales are inserted to shape the cockpits.

The fin should definitely be attached before inflating – it is simply slid into the fitting on the underside of the Gumotex Swing 2.

The Gumotex Swing 2 can be paddled alone or with two people. Due to its compact design, the Swing 2 is more suitable for people under 1.8 meters tall. Otherwise, the space in the boat quickly becomes tight for two.

The Gumotex Swing 2 is suitable for large rivers, lakes, and smaller rivers up to whitewater grade II. It can also be paddled well solo from the rear seat position.

Die überarbeitete Version 2025 bietet zusätzliche Verbesserungen: wasserdichte Deckreißverschlüsse, optimierte Kenterleinen, robuste Hartplastikgriffe und eine stabilere Konstruktion im Bereich des Süllrands. Diese Details erhöhen die Lebensdauer und machen das Boot im Alltag noch zuverlässiger.

Bei regelmäßiger Pflege, Trocknung und Schutz vor UV-Strahlung bleibt das Swing 2 viele Jahre einsatzbereit und behält seine guten Fahreigenschaften.

Durch sein kompaktes Packmaß und das moderate Gewicht lässt sich das Swing 2 sehr leicht transportieren. Es wird im mitgelieferten Stoffbeutel verstaut, der wenig Platz benötigt und bequem im Auto, Camper oder sogar in der Bahn transportiert werden kann.

Besonders bei Flusstouren mit häufigen Umtragestellen zahlt sich das geringe Gewicht aus. Wer das Boot noch komfortabler bewegen möchte, kann einen leichten Kanuwagen nutzen – so lässt sich das Swing 2 auch mit Gepäck mühelos über längere Strecken zum Einstieg rollen.

Damit eignet sich das Swing 2 hervorragend für Paddler, die flexibel unterwegs sein wollen, sei es auf Wochenendtouren, Reisen oder spontanen Kleinflusstrips.
