Grabner Adventure Expedition

The Grabner Adventure Expedition comes standard with two sturdy wooden seat boards that provide a reliable and comfortable seating position. The package also includes a repair kit for minor damage, a valve wrench and an overpressure adapter, ensuring you are well equipped for maintenance and safe handling of the canoe.

In addition to standard accessories such as a paddle, air pump or personal flotation device, adding extra D-rings is a practical upgrade for the Grabner Adventure Expedition. They provide a convenient way to securely attach a kayak trolley or additional equipment to the canoe, which is particularly helpful on longer tours or during portages on land.

Although the Adventure Expedition is primarily designed for two paddlers, its balanced hull shape also allows it to be manoeuvred very efficiently solo. When paired with a suitable double-bladed paddle, the canoe remains precise and easy to control. Choosing a paddle that matches the intended use and paddling technique further enhances handling and overall comfort on the water.

With a suitable air pump, the Grabner Adventure Expedition can be fully set up in just a few minutes. Before inflation, the wooden seat boards are installed inside the canoe to ensure everything is correctly positioned. The Adventure Expedition features three separate air chambers – one floor chamber and two side chambers – each inflated to 0.3 bar. Thanks to its straightforward setup, the canoe is quickly ready for the next tour.

The Grabner Adventure Expedition can be paddled solo with a double-bladed paddle or used by up to three people. Despite its generous dimensions, the canoe remains easy to control and offers comfortable handling across different types of water. The design provides excellent legroom and ample storage space for gear, making the Adventure Expedition particularly well suited for longer tours and journeys with extensive equipment.

Despite its size, the Adventure Expedition can be folded down surprisingly compactly. The robust rubber material remains flexible, allowing the canoe to be neatly packed once deflated. With a weight of 26 kg, it is easy to handle and can be carried comfortably by one or two people, even over longer distances from the car park to the water’s edge.

When folded, the canoe requires only limited storage space and fits into many larger car boots or the cargo area of a motorhome. The low-maintenance material dries quickly, making it easy to pack away after a tour and have the boat ready for its next outing without much effort.
