The Grabner Outside comes with two sturdy wooden seat boards, providing a secure and direct seating position for whitewater use. The package also includes a repair kit for minor damage, a valve wrench, and an overpressure adapter, ensuring you are well equipped for both maintenance and handling of the kayak.

In addition to essential gear such as a paddle, air pump, and personal flotation device, we recommend fitting the Grabner Outside with D-rings. These allow you to securely attach items like a kayak trolley or other essential equipment, making transport and organization during whitewater trips much easier.

While the Outside is primarily designed for tandem use, it can also be paddled solo with a double-bladed paddle. Its agile handling responds precisely to every stroke, offering excellent control. The Grabner Outside can be prepared for use quickly with a suitable air pump. Before inflating, install the seat boards to ensure everything sits securely. Then inflate the three separate air chambers—the floor chamber and the two side chambers—each to 0.3 bar. This straightforward setup allows you to get on the water with minimal effort, ready to tackle whitewater right away.

The Grabner Outside can be paddled solo with a double-bladed paddle or shared by up to three people. Despite its compact whitewater-oriented design, it offers surprisingly generous legroom and ample space for gear, making longer day trips comfortable and hassle-free.

The Grabner Outside is built for extreme conditions and constructed from vulcanized 1100 dtex EPDM rubber, one of the most durable materials used in whitewater kayaking. It remains flexible even in cold temperatures, is highly abrasion-resistant, and easily withstands repeated contact with rocks, hydraulics, and the riverbed.

Its robust hull design and substantial material thickness ensure the Outside stays stable and maintains its shape under heavy loads. Rated for Class V whitewater, the kayak meets the highest technical demands. With Grabner’s excellent spare parts availability, the Outside can remain fully operational even after many years of use.

Despite its sturdy whitewater construction, the Grabner Outside folds down compactly. The flexible EPDM material allows for a tight pack, so the kayak takes up far less space in its transport bag than its 410 cm length might suggest. Weighing 22 kg, it remains manageable and can be easily carried by two people.

After a trip, the material dries quickly, allowing the Outside to be packed away without delay—ideal for paddlers who frequently move between different river sections. Once folded, it fits into many larger cars or camper vans, making it an excellent choice for whitewater trips and demanding weekend adventures.
