In addition to essential equipment such as a paddle, air pump, and personal flotation device, we also recommend adding extra D-rings to the Grabner Tramper. These allow you to keep items like a throw bag or other important gear securely attached and within easy reach on the kayak. This is especially useful when quick access is needed on the water.
The Tramper truly shows its strengths when combined with a rudder system. It noticeably improves straight-line tracking, makes maneuvering easier, and allows the wide, exceptionally stable kayak to be paddled in a more relaxed and controlled manner, particularly on longer stretches.
