Grabner XR Trekking

The Grabner XR Trekking comes standard with two robust wooden seat boards that ensure a stable and comfortable seating position. The package also includes a repair kit for minor damage, a valve wrench and an overpressure adapter, ensuring you are well equipped for maintenance and safe handling of the inflatable boat.

In addition to classic accessories such as a paddle, air pump or personal flotation device, we also recommend adding D-rings for the Grabner XR Trekking. These allow you to securely attach a kayak trolley or fasten additional equipment, offering a practical solution for tours with more gear.

As the XR Trekking can be paddled very efficiently solo with a double-bladed paddle, choosing the right paddle is particularly important. We are happy to help you select a double-bladed paddle that matches your body height, paddling style and intended use.

With a suitable air pump, the Grabner XR Trekking can be set up in just a few minutes. Before inflation, the seats are mounted to the boat to ensure a secure and stable fit. The XR Trekking features three air chambers – one floor chamber and two side chambers – each inflated to 0.3 bar. Thanks to its straightforward setup, the boat is ready for use quickly, allowing you to get on the water without delay.

The Grabner XR Trekking can be paddled solo with a double-bladed paddle or used as a tandem inflatable kayak. Its generous length and open hull design provide excellent legroom and balanced weight distribution, making longer touring distances comfortable. With ample storage space for gear, the boat is well suited for day trips as well as short multi-day river tours.

The Grabner XR Trekking is suitable for whitewater up to grade 3, offering sufficient reserves for sporty river sections. Its robust construction and agile shape ensure that the boat remains well controlled and responsive even in moving water.

The Grabner XR Trekking is made from high-quality Grabner rubber material, regarded as one of the most durable materials in the inflatable boat segment. The thick, vulcanised rubber fabric is extremely abrasion-resistant, UV-stable and resistant to ageing, making it ideal for rocky river sections, frequent beaching and years of whitewater use.

The welded seams and substantial material thickness ensure that the boat retains its shape and airtightness even after many seasons. As Grabner supplies all components individually, replacement parts can be ordered without difficulty even after long-term use. This makes the XR Trekking one of the most robust and durable hybrid canoes on the market.

Despite its robust rubber construction, the Grabner XR Trekking can be folded down compactly and stored in the transport bag. Weighing 20 kg, it remains easy to carry and can be transported to the water comfortably either solo or by two people.

Thanks to the fast-drying rubber material, the boat can be packed away quickly after use. When folded, it fits easily into the boot of many cars, making it an excellent choice for travel, weekend trips and flexible use on a wide range of waters.
