Gumotex Aurion - Aufblasbares Kajak

The Gumotex Aurion comes with a seat and a footrest. The included fin significantly improves the directional stability of the Gumotex Aurion. The two supplied metal struts support the front and rear deck. Also included are a repair kit for minor damages, a valve key, a sponge for cleaning, and a waterproof transport bag with a capacity of 100 liters.

The Gumotex Aurion can be fully sealed with a compatible spray skirt, minimizing incoming splash water. Additionally, the Gumotex Aurion reaches its full potential when equipped with a rudder system, which makes maneuvering and steering easier.

In addition to standard accessories like a paddle, pump, or life jacket, we also recommend a canoe trolley. This makes transporting the Gumotex Aurion much more convenient.

The Gumotex Aurion can be inflated in just a few minutes with a good air pump. It consists of three air chambers (one floor and two side chambers), all equipped with easy-to-use Push-Push valves. The side chambers are inflated to 0.25 bar operating pressure, while the drop-stitch floor is inflated to 0.5 bar. The fin should always be attached before inflating – it simply slides into the fitting on the underside of the Gumotex Aurion.

The Gumotex Aurion is a single-person kayak. It offers plenty of space for gear, making it perfect for longer tours. Large storage compartments are located under both the front and rear deck.

The Gumotex Aurion is particularly suitable for large rivers and calm waters. Here, it can fully showcase its excellent tracking performance. For small rivers, the Aurion is somewhat too long, opting for a shorter boat is a better choice. It is also not suitable for whitewater, as it is simply too unstable for that purpose.

Das Gumotex Aurion besteht aus dem widerstandsfähigen NITRILON®-Material, das seit Jahren für seine hohe Abriebfestigkeit, UV-Stabilität und Langlebigkeit geschätzt wird. Durch die Kombination aus Dropstitch-Boden und verstärkten Dropstitch-Unterseiten erhält das Aurion eine sehr steife Struktur, die sich gerade auf langen Touren positiv bemerkbar macht.

Trotz seiner schmalen, sportlichen Bauweise bleibt das Material zuverlässig und formstabil – auch bei häufigem Einsatz auf Seen und größeren Flüssen. Die glatte Oberfläche trocknet schnell und lässt sich leicht reinigen, was das Aurion zu einem pflegeleichten und zugleich langlebigen Tourenkajak macht.

Das Gumotex Aurion lässt sich nach dem Trocknen kompakt zusammenfalten und im mitgelieferten 100-Liter-Transportsack verstauen. Durch sein moderates Gewicht ist das Boot gut tragbar und problemlos im Auto, Wohnmobil oder Gepäckraum transportierbar.

Besonders praktisch ist ein Kanuwagen, wenn der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Einstiegsplatz etwas länger ausfällt. Damit lässt sich das Aurion auch inklusive Ausrüstung bequem bewegen, ohne den Rücken zu belasten. Die schmale, geschlossene Bauweise erleichtert zudem das vollständige Entleeren und Trocknen nach der Tour.
