We recommend a suitable double-bladed kayak paddle, a high-performance air pump, a pressure gauge to check the operating pressure and a buoyancy aid as part of your basic equipment. A pressure gauge ensures that the Gumotex Halibut is always inflated to the recommended operating pressure for the best possible performance on the water.

With a high-performance air pump, the Gumotex Halibut is ready for use within just a few minutes. First, insert the floorboards and attach the tracking fin to the underside of the kayak. Then inflate the three air chambers via the Push-Push valves to the recommended operating pressure of 0.2 bar. Finally, secure the inflatable seat with the straps and adjust it to your preferred position, ensuring maximum comfort for your next fishing trip.
