The Nortik CityRaft is specifically designed for use in urban areas. The focus is clearly more on straight-line tracking than on the maneuverability usually desired in flowing water.

The Nortik CityRaft can be inflated in just a few minutes using the included pump sack.
Pull the pump sack upwards, close it slowly, and then roll it. This “traps” the air inside the sack. Then fold/roll/press the sack downwards, forcing the air into the raft.
Once the raft is sufficiently inflated, remove the pump sack from the valve and close the valve again.
Das Nortik CityRaft besteht aus TPU-Material, das für ein sehr leichtes Packraft eine hohe Widerstandsfähigkeit bietet. Trotz seines geringen Gewichts von nur 2,8 kg bleibt die Außenhaut robust genug für regelmäßige Einsätze auf Zahmwasser. Die Konstruktion ist darauf ausgelegt, alltägliche Belastungen gut wegzustecken, solange das Boot sachgerecht verwendet wird.
Eine lange Lebensdauer wird vor allem durch sorgfältigen Umgang unterstützt: Das Packraft sollte nach der Nutzung vollständig getrocknet, auf sauberem Untergrund aufgebaut und vor Abrieb auf rauen Flächen geschützt werden. Kleinere Beschädigungen lassen sich mit geeigneten Reparaturmaterialien problemlos ausbessern.
Mit einem Gewicht von nur 2,8 kg gehört das Nortik CityRaft zu den besonders mobilen Packrafts. Zusammengelegt passt es problemlos in einen Rucksack und lässt sich bequem zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln mitnehmen.
Durch die kurzen Abmessungen von 250 × 92 cm im aufgebauten Zustand bleibt das Boot kompakt, und dank des kleinen Packmaßes eignet es sich ideal für spontane Ausflüge im urbanen Umfeld oder Touren, bei denen möglichst wenig Gepäck mitgeführt werden soll.
