The Zelgear Igla 490 is the big brother of the Igla 410. It's comfortable, extremely fast, lightweight, and agile. With a width of 78 cm, the Igla 490 is very stable, comfortable, and offers plenty of space inside. Multiple fittings for securing seats, knee braces, or the cockpit are available.

The high stability of the boat is achieved through the V-shape of the dropstitch bottom. This unique design shapes the contours of the hull, providing exceptional rigidity and excellent tracking.
The assembly of the kayak takes approximately 5-10 minutes. The skeg (the directional fin) of the kayak is inserted into a tab at the stern and fixed by inflating the boat.

The Zelgear Igla 490 comes with two seats, footrests, and two pairs of thigh straps. With the included double fin, you can enhance the directional stability and maneuverability of the Zelgear Igla 490 on the water. Additionally, you'll receive a repair kit for minor damages, a pump, and a transport bag. This allows you to conveniently store, maintain, and, of course, use your Igla 490 on the water.
For the Zelgear Igla 490, we recommend adding a pressure gauge to ensure you inflate it properly. The Zelgear Igla 490 can be easily assembled in just a few minutes with a good air pump. The drop-stitch floor is inflated to 0.5 bar, while the sides are inflated to 0.25 bar. The included seat is quickly inflated and easily attached to the kayak. The double fin is inserted into a special pocket at the rear of the Zelgear Igla 490 and secured by inflation.
